SUMMER 1999. The Nevada Association for the Handicapped held a benefit at The Mirage. Celebrites were invited to decortate aprons for this charity dinner. David purchased the Starry, Starry Night apron for $3,000.
October 9, 1999 - Lied Discovery Children's Museum Charity Dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas. David helped auction off a brand new Harley-Davidson Motorcycle.
May 14, 1999. David and Sue appeared in Central Park in New York City to help refugee children of Kosovo. Click HERE to read about it.

March 1999, David and Sue remixed a song they had previously penned called 'Message To The World' to aid the young war victims of Bosnia and Croatia. Over 80,000 people have been recorded singing the tune, including; Wyclef Jean, Sam Moore, Martin Sheen, Super David Osborne, Dyan Cannon, Greg Evigan, Rosie O'Donnell, including 50,000 people at Woodstock 1999 led by Cassidy's wife. November 1998 - David made a PSA for the Scouting For Food event in Las Vegas.
June 1998 - David was the spokesman for the Walking For MS event in Las Vegas.
May 19, 1998 - David spoke at The VH1 Save The Music Foundation event (picture on right). This is a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in American public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education.

June 21, 1997 - David was a presenter at The Victor Awards, benefiting the City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute, honoring 30 outstanding professional and amateur athletes in 14 categories of sports for their accomplishments both on and off the field of play.
April 1, 1997 - PSA (Public Service Announcement) for the National Strategy to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. the 30 second commercial was sent to 111 TV stations all over Calif. David is shown standing with a group of teenagers in a park. I'm David Cassidy. Do this with me, will ya? (Snaps fingers.). Every time you snapyur fingers, somewhere in the world another teen pregnancy is recorded. 1.3 million every year in the United States alone. Think about it. It's not just a girl thing, either. It's a guy thing, to, right? (Asks teens with him). So learn about prevention. Call this number (shown on screen) and talk to your physician, your physician's assistant and the many other people who care. Call, and don't stop thinking about it!
August 19, 1996 – David was host for an AIDS charity function at Bally’s Costa Mesa store in California.
April 26, 1996 - David hosted Bally Cares, a fund-raising event to benefit the Life Foundation at the Bally of Switzerland store at 2270 Kalakaua Ave, Hawaii.
1996 - Sondheim AIDS Benefit. David sang two songs 'You Could Drive a Person Crazy' (from Company, 1971)- together with Patrick and Shaun Cassidy and 'Sooner Or Later' (from Dick Tracy, 1990) A 30 song Double CD was released to raise money.

1995 - Feed The Children. Web site run by Ruth McCartney (step-sister of Paul McCartney) with recipes from celebrities. One is from David Cassidy. After down-loading the recipe, you can donate money to this charity.
Oct. 1995 - David hosted a black-tie even at one of Bally's Manhattan, N.Y. stores in aid of Equity Fights AIDS.

May 2, 1994 - David attends the benefit for the T.J.Martel Foundation in New York City.
Oct. 6 1993 - David attended the St Clare's Hospital Benefit Luncheon in New York City.
1992 - David Cassidy and his wife wrote the song 'Stand and Be Proud' to aid in the rebuilding of Los Angeles after the riots. They raised two million dollars. More information here.
February 28, 1991 - David was part of the celebrity chorus on 'Voices That Care'. The single, video and documentary were made for the troups in Desert Storm and to support the International Red Cross organisation. More information here.
April 22, 1990 - David attended the Earthwalk Benefit in Los Angeles.
October 1989 - David attended the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS) Music Against AIDS event.
November 13, 1988 - T.A.P.S. David appeared on a Benefit show in Los Angeles to collect money for TAPS - The Advancement of Prosthetic Services (An organisation that finances hand prosthetics). The show was arranged by his mom, cousin Al was also there because he's a producer of prosthetic hands.
August 1986 - David joined with Elton John, Dire Straits, Duran Duran, David Bowie, Matt Bianco, The Thompson Twins and Twiggy on an anti drug video. They appeared on the video to promote a fundraising record for the YMCA. The song was written by an eight year old Australian boy as his contribution for the International Year of Youth and Peace. The song was then used in Australia to promote Live Aid.
October 7, 1985 - David was one of a number of artists who sent signed photos and various prizes for a raffle to aid Lochee Live Aid. Lochee is an area in the west of Dundee, Scotland. It was reported that the community spirit of Lochee made the concert a success and £5,000 was raised for the global appeal.
November 6, 1977 - David joined host Charlie Tuna for the 4th Annual Cystic Fibrosis Television Auction. Other guests included his wife Kay Lenz.
September 1977 - David was part of a charity ten pin bowling tournament in Los Angeles called "Rock'n'Bowl". Other celebrity bowlers included Alice Cooper, The Runaways, Suzi Quatro, Chaka Kahn, The Doobie Brothers and stars of the American TV series "Kojak" and "Happy Days".
1973 - David lent his name to the Muscular Dystophy fundraising campaign.

October 18, 1972 - The cast of The Partridge Family supported the first National Bike-A-Thon for the American Cancer Society
