Fan's Tales
Jason's Tale
Jason Thomas Adams wowed listeners singing 'I Think I Love You' at a preschool banquet when he was only 2 ½ years old! Jason knew then that he loved being on the stage. Soon he was in a wheel chair because of a broken leg and kept singing to mom's David Cassidy/PF cassettes. Soon thereafter, Jason developed epilepsy.
Jason is now part of a children's theatre group. SHOWCAMP! Without David's influence, who knows what Jason's life would be like today? Performing on stage has given Jason the confidence he needed to deal with the challenges of living with epilepsy. Today he still sings along with David. Thank you David for making a difference in the life of a child.
Jason Thomas Adams' initial Fan's Tale (above) was posted on David's website in 2006. Since then Jason has had the privilege of meeting David and his family at Ruby and the Rockits, and several other times. David kindly autographed Jason's #1, mint condition, David Cassidy comic book, as well as a photo stating Jason is his favorite fan. Jason treasures these items, and we have thanked, and continue to thank, David for his influence in Jason's life.
After all the seizures and bullying in Jr high (happily Jason has only had one Grand mal seizure in 4 years), Jason has made it into Hollywood High School's Magnet for the performing arts. Veteran actors, who graduated Hollywood High often come in and offer their time with the students. Jason received rave reviews as Slugworth this summer, in the stage play "WONKA"!
Jason is now 16 years old and has started rehearsals for the Christmas Show at The Colony Theater in Burbank, Ca. Jason's first film, a short horror "Hinnon Valley" made it to the Burbank Film festival.
One thing Jason asks is that you support our troops, no matter what part of the world you are in. He nearly lost his brother T.J. in Afghanistan.
Jason still struggles from side effects from the seizures, and has a mild autism as well. It doesn't show on stage at all, so we will always be happy he got his hands on those David Cassidy tapes. They were the start of his life's passions ever since. David will hold a special place in our hearts always! <3
In this picture from Mothers day, at the Orleans in Vegas Jason is in the red shirt. This was taken right as David noticed Jason, put his hand on his chest, and said "Hey Buddy" as he leaned over and gave Jason three good manly hand-shakes! Jason was so happy! Jason hadn't been feeling well, and this lifted his spirits! David has the kind of energy that heals! I wish I could tell him this.
This update is filled with love and appreciation to David and his wonderful fans!
Love Jill, Jason, and Family.
