From the organisers: In May 1998 David Cassidy spoke at the VH1 Save The Music Foundation Event about the importance of music in a child’s education. The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a non profit Organisation based in New York dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in American public schools , raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child’s complete education. David felt passionately about music and how that impacts a child to grow, to learn and express themselves . This fundraiser is in his memory to further his musical legacy and impact a future generation as one of the all time great musicians of the 70’s,80’s,90’s and beyond . This is for him
