Berry Burst Cheerios

This imaginative ad showed a strawberry truck and Cheerios truck falling in love. The ad features the hit I Think I Love You in the background as the two trucks meet on the street.

The "Duets with David" promotion invited consumers to write the lyrics to a song about the joining of Cheerios and Berries. The winner got to sing that song with David Cassidy at the Mall of America in Minnesota.

Kellogg's Rice Krispies

One of the last network/program sponsorships was Kellogg's sponsorship of The Partridge Family in 1970. The first commercial shows the whole family waking up to the sound of Kellogg's Rice Krispies.

In another commercial break for Rice Krispies, only Shirley Jones and David Cassidy are seen. The jingle is sung by The Partridge Family (the regular recording singers, Shirley Jones and David).
