On July 13, 1990, David attended the B104 WBSB radio station wedding in Baltimore. The wedding was a contest for listeners and the winning bride and groom requested that David attend. Prior to the wedding David did a short interview and spoke to callers. David played the guitar during the ceremony and was happy to be included in a joke during the giving of the rings. He also agreed to a contest for the winner to have lunch with him later that day. The bride and groom played "Ï Think I Love You" for their first dance
