The Partridge Family - Season 1, Episode 2
Title: The Sound Of Money
First aired: October 2, 1970
Synopsis:
The Partridge Family are driving in their bus when Shirley very lightly bumps the car in front of her. Willie Larkin, the driver of the car, leaps out in anger. Unhurt, he begins to scold the family but when he learns that the family are in show business he decides to sue them for whiplash.
Shirley's insurance company advises her to settle out of court and give Willie $10,000. But the kids convince Shirley that she shouldn't help a man commit fraud -- and they decide to take matters into their own hands.
Reuben and Danny try to trick Willie into bending over. When that doesn't work, the family moves in with Willie on the pretence that they want to take care of him. The family wins his affection, and he agrees to drop the lawsuit.
