The Partridge Family – Season 3, Episode 20 (69)

Title: Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex…but Couldn’t Pronounce.

Synopsis:

The first scene has Shirley asking Danny what he is doing, Laurie then arrives home from school, she mentions that the finals are next week and their teachers informed them how they are doing, she is doing well expect that she is a little low in Biology. Keith arrives home looking cross and upset, he doesn’t want to discuss it and goes straight up to his room. Shirley asks Laurie if Keith is failing a subject, Laurie thinks and realises that the only course Keith could be flunking is his Sex Education class.

We next see Keith sitting in his room, there’s a knock on the bedroom door, the door opens, Shirley enters. She asks Keith if he is failing his Sex Education class. Keith admits he is, but points out that it is a required course, he also feels that his teacher, Mr Grisbee, doesn’t like him. Shirley didn’t realise it was that serious and suggests she goes to see his teacher. The family think this is funny until they realise Keith needs to pass this class to graduate. If he fails, he could go to summer school to do the class again, but this would mean cancelling the Partridge Family summer tour.

On seeing Mr Grisbee, he tells Shirley that Keith’s work is below par and that if he wants to pass, he needs to study his Gluteus Maximus off. On her return Shirley tells Keith what was said, and Keith decides to study all he can until the test. On the day of the test Keith goes into school early, but he falls asleep. On seeing Mr Grisbee that afternoon, he allows Keith to take the test. In a phone call Mr Grisbee ask Shirley and Keith to see him the next day. Keith got an 'A' on the exam. Mr Grisbee said he was hard on Keith because he felt that Keith was not doing as well as he could and now Keith had proved that if he really tried, he could be an excellent student. Mr Grisbee stops Keith from tearing up a note he had written, his nieces had been asking him to get Keith’s autograph.
